About this floor.... Anyone have tips on easy tile removal? This stuff has probably been stuck down for 50 years. Some is loose but most is NOT. Obviously the floor needs to be smooth(ish) and level before we can lay new stuff. About new stuff. We are considering the vinyl tile that looks just like wood. It sticks down by the slat. Should we be considering a 'floating wood' floor instead? Any takers on this question?
